Three years ago, the founders of QualSight had a very simple idea: provide safe, high-quality laser vision correction that people can afford. To realize this ambition, the company’s founders developed the largest network of independent Ophthalmologists operating out of over 600 locations, and connected this network to health care plan sponsors and their members. By successfully cultivating and serving this relationship, QualSight has quickly become the leading manager of laser vision correction surgery services, representing over 50 million members across the United States.

Although a comparatively young company in the laser vision correction arena, QualSight’s three principals had a great depth of experience and expertise in managed care before launching their new business. Our chairman started a small pharmacy benefit management firm that became a Fortune 200 company and during this growth, he oversaw a vision benefit subsidiary. Another founder created a nationwide optometry/ophthalmology network. The third founder created another successful pharmacy benefit management company plus brings years of experience as the chief administrative officer and chief information officer for another Fortune 500 health care company.
