What Refractive Surgery is Best for Me?

At QualSight, you will receive a comprehensive eye exam at no cost to you if you do not proceed with the surgery. Your Ophthalmologist will test for your level of vision, Astigmatism, corneal thickness, among several other measurements to help determine the right treatment option for you, whether traditional LASIK, custom LASIK, IntraLase, PRK, or Monovision. You will discuss your options with your surgeon, and QualSight will also help answer any questions or concerns along the way.

Will My Surgery Hurt?

LASIK surgery is painless surgery. You’ll be given numbing drops before the treatment (no needles), and the laser emits only cool pulses of light that do not harm the surrounding tissue. An outpatient procedure, you’ll probably be in surgery for less than 15 minutes, and in and out of your doctor’s office within two hours. The most common discomfort after the procedure is a sensation of dryness or that you have a bit of dust in your eye. This typically dissipates within a few hours.

When Can I Return to Work?
